Emma
Staying at B&B Emma means staying with us, locals. We are a family of 3: Leen, Jimmy and Emma. The logo is our daughter Emma in front of the old Saint John’s Hospital. The photo was taken in 2015 when we started our B & B. She is nowadays studying French and Spanish at Ghent University. Jimmy is head coach of Cercle Bruges' B-team following his career as a professional football player. Football is part of the game in our life. Leen manages the B&B. In our free time, we love to hike and bike. We are local food lovers and enjoy a good beer. Our breakfast is based on personal values such as bio, local and homemade. Enjoy a variety of local bread, traditional jams and honey, chocolate from Bruges, home made granola, yoghurt, local cheese and meat, fresh eggs, fresh fruit juice, fresh roasted origin coffee and loose tea. We serve, according to the current measures, a breakfast in bed.
Couleur locale
It's very quiet over here. Few tourists find their way to our lovely ancient neighbourhood of St.-Giles. A mere 10 minutes walk to the Market Square, we are very well located within the historic centre of Bruges. It's an ideal starting point to discover the city and its surroundings. Cyclists and hikers have easy access to one of the many routes through Bruges picturesque countryside! Also the coast is nearby.
Comfort and authenticity
Our townhouse (1938) has been refurbished with respect for the authenticity of the property.
We have two comfortable bedrooms (2 persons and 3 persons) with wooden floors, each equipped with a private toilet, shower, sink, flatscreen tv and wifi.
